I've been knowing Jo for over 10 years. We worked together and I am a musician and Entertainer.
I was really shocked to read on the internet of her passing.
The last time we spoke, she was going to go to the diner. She was my best friend and like a sister to me.
We would call each other all the time and talk about everything. She really took care of Walter and was working on getting him his headstone.
I remember one-time me, Jo, my son Daniel, and Walter all went out to the diner. We had so much fun and we bought our dogs. We ate outside.
I was calling and calling and texting for a long time and I could not get Jo.
I know we always talk every few days. So I know something was wrong she didn't call me back or text me.
I love Jo just like a big sister and a mentor.
She will truly be missed and I love her very much!

Josephine was a very caring and empathetic lady. She was very concerned with family. I met her in 2004 and found her to be a very concerned and dedicated person. She shared my interest in Scenic Hill and supported me when I ran for office for the Board of Trustees. We are having an election, and she insisted on bringing to me a proxy for me to turn in during the elections. She wanted to make sure that I and others got her vote. Even though I said that I would pick it up the next day, she insisted on dropping it off on Saturday night. I wonder whether she knew that her time was limited. I knew that she was going to go for chemo during the week and said that we would go to dinner when she felt like eating. She said that she was looking forward to that. I feel sad when I think of the fact that we couldn't have that dinner together as we did in the past and that we would never be together again,She will be missed by the community and friends.
