Judith Manowitz, formerly of South Orange, passed away June 19, 2018 at Inglemoor Care Center in Livingston. She was 92.
Born in Bronx, New York and raised in Highland Park, Judith graduated from Highland Park High School and received her RN from the Newark Beth Israel School of Nursing. She was a loving wife and dedicated mother. After her nursing career and raising her family she was a market research consultant with Communications Research Clinic in Englewood for 30 years. Her hobbies included reading, entertaining, travel and she was a volunteer for City of Hope Cancer Centers.
Predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Dr. Nelson Manowitz, and daughter Marcia; Judith is survived by her son Dr. Neil Manowitz.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 21, at the mausoleum at Beth Israel Cemetery, Route One in Woodbridge. Services are under the direction of Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel in Livingston. Donations in Judith’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association,
