Dearest Celia, and Dear Tania, Barry and Sharon.

I have just now heard the devastating news about Julio. I remember the first time I met him . He and Celia had come to Canada many, many years ago to visit my paternal grandmother. I have this memory of him holding a baby in his arms in in the bedroom of my grandmother’s house in Outremont while he was telling us all a story or relaying some news or memories of family in Argentina.

I remember visiting you for Tania’s wedding and going to Chicago for Barry’s. I remember our lively conversations about Medicare when it started here in Canada. And most of all, I remember his warm heart and generosity of spirit.

I was just thinking about him a couple of days ago, and I had planned to call and find how he and Celia were doing. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. I will be praying for him and for you all during the funeral service today and every day afterwards.

My sincerest condolences and much love.

Your cousin,

Esther Anne Cleman

Julio and I go back many years. We first met in 1964 when Julio and Celia came to Beth Israel hospital and Julio was a first year resident in the ob/ gyn program.
We became good friends at that time and we ran the residency program together. We became partners and became very close. There was nobody better than the two of us.
As close as we were, so were our families. We haven’t seen each other for a long time , but those years have disappeared. RIP my brother. I will miss you very much. My love and condolences go out to Celia , Barry and Tania and the entire family.

Fuerte Abrazo
