Leonard Kalb

Leonard Kalb leaves behind his beloved wife, Phyllis, of 62 years, children: Elliott and wife Amy, David and wife Susan, and Randi and husband William. Lenny, as he liked to be called, had 10 grandchildren: Alissa, Jordan, Wyatt, Heath, Samuel, Daniel, Jacob, Sara, Jessica and Lindsay. Lenny also leaves behind his brother, Gerald and a sister-in-law Barbara DeNoble.

Lenny was an Executive VP at Career Management for 30 years and previously worked as a Director of Operations at Masters Discount Stores and was the Director of Operations at Two Guys Department Stores for 25 years. He loved being able to help people find their dream jobs and assisted and mentored them in their careers.

He loved photography, boating, travelling but most of all spending time with his loving wife, Phyllis, and his family and friends. Everyone who knew him knew he was always there to listen, talk, laugh, and give the best advice. He was the perfect height to hug. He is and will always be greatly missed!

A funeral service for Leonard will be held Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. Following the funeral service will be a burial at New Mount Zion Cemetery, 153 Orient Way, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.

Shiva will be held at the home of Phyllis and Leonard following the burial on Sunday and on Monday from 2 to 5 pm. For the address and more information please contact the family or the funeral home.
