Lois R. Farina, 85, passed away peacefully at home on Thurs, Nov. 1, 2018. A 38 year resident of Berkeley Heights, and previously of Union, NJ, she was very involved with Deborah and with the Berkeley Heights Swim Club. She was also well known for her baking, and ran a family owned baked goods company, Farina’s Favorites, for several years in New York City.
Beloved wife of Mario, loving mother of Jay Farina (Michael Lighty), Wendy Farina (Terry Walrath) and Billy Farina (Susan), devoted grandmother of Sasha, Maxwell, Harrison, and Bennett, cherished Aunt of Toni Jones and Skip, Darren, and Brett Wachman.
A memorial service will celebrate her life at 10:00 a.m. on Sun., Nov. 4, 2018 at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lois’ memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Lois R. Farina Fund.
