She is also survived by her nephew Jonathan Druckman and his wife Susan, her niece Georgia Druckman, and her two beloved great nephews Daniel Druckman and Adam Druckman. Lucille was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and a dear friend to many. She was a very positive influence on all who met her, and made whoever she was talking to feel like the most important person in the world, with a true gift of conversation. She was filled with kindness, joy, love and selfless devotion to her family and her friends. Lucille married at the young age of 19, and supported Herb through his service in the United States Navy, as well as dental school. She graduated from Upsala College and became a gifted teacher to young children. After that Lucille worked to advocate for women who were victims of domestic violence and she helped many Russian immigrants to get settled with work and housing. She even had some of them live in for periods of time creating a safe and welcoming environment, and making them her lifelong friends. Lucille lived a full, happy life and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and family, immersing herself in learning about art and other cultures. She and Herb learned to sail together, and passed this love onto their children. She was an avid reader and painter, and could always be counted upon to suggest a compelling book, film, or TV program. She loved cooking for a crowd at holidays and other special occasions. Lucille put everyone else's comfort before her own, creating a peace in her presence. Her gentle nature and loving support will be missed by a multitude of family and friends.
