Born in Brooklyn and raised in Oceanside Long Island, Marc raised his family in Pine Brook before more recently moving to Hoboken.
Marc graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University in Madison and immediately began working with his father in the family business, Preferred Packaging Corporation.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Kirsch), children: Jason Maurer and Erica Martinez; grandchildren: Owen & Harry, and Marc’s mother, Gloria Maurer.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, NJ. Burial will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
