Born in Passaic and raised in Rutherford, Marc had lived in West Orange or the past 3 years after living in Short Hills the previous 32 years. Proud Rutgers Graduate, he attended dental school at University of Maryland, Baltimore County and went to Boston University for Endodontics. Marc had his own practice in Union for 40 years before retiring and was an active member of the Union County Dental Association as well as the American Dental Association. In addition to his family, Marc loved golf, the NY Yankees and any Rutgers sports, especially basketball and football.
Marc is survived by his wife of 34 years, Layne (Brooks); children: Allison and her husband Scott Osur, Jamie and her husband Bryan Drew, Seth Apirian and his wife Shari, Adam Apirian and Anetta Remelski. Also surviving are his six grandchildren: Luke, Max, Alexis, Austin, Ethan, Rhys as well as Marc’s sister Joyce and her husband Eric Hagstrom, his loving niece Jessica and her husband Steven Glass and great nephew Elliot.
