Marcia was the cornerstone of our home and family. She raised three children—Madelyn (Jerry), Sara (Paul), and Ben (Mimi)—in a nurturing and joyful environment, instilling in them the values of independence, kindness, and thoughtfulness. She shared a beautiful 51-year marriage with her soulmate, Ken, who preceded her in death. As a grandmother to Rachel, Danielle, Jessica, Erica, Daniel, Maya, Lily, Matt, and Holden, and great-grandmother to Brooke, Marcia was the one who stayed up late playing games and watching movies, always creating cherished memories. Marcia is also survived by her sister, Judith Carrel.
Her quiet sense of humor and warm heart brought joy to everyone around her. Marcia’s kindness, wit, and love made her the heart and soul of our family, and her absence leaves an irreplaceable void. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service for Marcia will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 11:30am at The Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah Mausoleum, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07630. Entombment to follow.
