Marie Ferrentino

Marie Ferrentino (nee Bambo) of Belleville and Surf City passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday May 8, 2013. She was 92 years old.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 10, from 3-8 pm at the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. Livingston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, May 11 in St. Anthony’s Church in Belleville at 10:30 am, followed by the interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair.

Born in Newark, Marie was an inspector with General Motors in their Hyatt Roller Bearing Division in Clark for 17 years retiring in 1976.

She was predeceased by her husband Philip Ferrentino, parents Angelo and Elizabeth Bambo, prior owners of the Belmont Tavern, and a brother Fred Bambo.

She was the loving mother of Philip Ferrentino and his wife Carmela, Marie Labisi and her late husband Ronald, and Jackie Lukowiak and her husband Thomas, and cherished grandmother of Ronald and Michael Labisi, Danielle Fasulo, Thomas Lukowiak, Stacie Ferrentino Barrish, and Mark and Lauren Ferrentino. She was also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers kindly make contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
