She was a devoted mother, grandmother and teacher for more than 40 years. In addition to her work in the classroom, Meryl was a tutor who tirelessly supported children who needed extra help, always believing in their potential. She also cared for her daughter during a serious illness, offering unwavering strength and patience. Her deep commitment to caring for others ultimately led to the founding of the Mandy Reichman Feeding Program, ensuring that local families are supported when they need it most.
She was amazing in every sense of the word—smart, brave, and creative. She gave her children a wonderful childhood and set up all those she taught for success throughout their lives because of her guidance, values, and unconditional love.
Meryl was predeceased by her daughter Mandy. She is survived by her loving husband Barry, her son Jeffrey, her daughter-in-law Jill, her grandson Max, her brothers and sisters-in-law Barry and Rhonda Novoson and George and Brenda Novoson and her bother-in-law and sister-in-law Stuart and Ronnie Reichman and her cousins Wendy, Stacy, Seth, Lisa, Brian, Gary, Amy and Shanna.
Meryl will be sincerely missed, but she will live on forever in the many lives she touched, taught, and cared for.
