 I first met Mike in High School and considered him a great classmate and good friend. He'll be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him
I actually knew Helen and her family much earlier as customers on my paper route and when she and I were classmates at Maple Ave. School. 

Michal was a great guy, I know he is in a better place now. On behalf of all of us, my sincere condolences.

I attended four years at Weequahic High School with Mike and his wife Helen.  We were a small, tightly knit class and made wonderful memories that will last forever.  

After a 43-year hiatus, I reconnected with Mike at Weequahic's 43rd class reunion in Morristown.  We caught up on each other's lives and Mike was the first to tell me about Harvey Belfer's financial fortune.

When mutual friends Don Kaufman (and his wife Arlene) were moving to Florida, Mike and I were among a group of classmates attending a going away party at the home of Bobbie and Marv Solomon.  Mike and I spontaneously started exchanging jokes and witticisms to the delight of those present.  I believe Mike and I would have made a great show business comedy team .  He will be remembered with great fondness.  My deepest condolences to Helen and his family.

           DAVID , IT WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE HAVING YOUR DAD SHOP IN OUR STORE.  IT WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE HIM

Robin, it was a beautiful service for your dad.  Your brother's words made me cry.  I'm sorry that you will not be receiving that call from your dad every morning.  Robin, Tuesdays will be a little different for you from now on, but please know I will be there to hold your hand.  My love to you and the family.  Love, Diana

Weequahic High School days were long ago but the recollections of being with Mike then and for decades beyond are still fresh and vivid. Remembrance of his admirable vigor and a hearty sense of humor still linger. All were fortunate to have shared days with him. As with all who mourn his passing we express our sincere condolences to all his family.
