Born in Newark NJ 99 years ago, Mildred (“Millie”) grew up in the Weequahic section of Newark and attended Weequahic High School. She was employed as a legal assistant for many years and studied at Paterson State College.
Introduced by their best friends, Florence and Jack Silverman, Millie and her husband, Arthur, married in 1948 and were together for 67 years until Arthur’s death in 2015. Initially residing in Newark and Livingston, they retired to Wellington Florida, where they made many great friends. Recently, Millie moved to Alamar Senior Living, where she died peacefully on August 9th.
Millie is survived by her brother Edwin Goldstein (Suzann), her daughter Linda Feld (Robert), her son William (Sigrid), two grandchildren, Jonathan (Laura) Feld and Jaime (Kevin) Zegers, and three great grandchildren, Danny Feld, Blake Zegers and Zoe Zegers. Millie is also survived by two step-grandchildren, Kayla and Jenifer, and nine step-great grandchildren. Millie’s brothers Martin Goldstein and Seymour Goldstein predeceased her.

A graveside service for Mildred will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 10:30 AM at B'nai Abraham Memorial Park, 2600 Route 22 East, Union, New Jersey 07083. Following the service, the family will be receiving guests at 11 Hilltop Circle, Morristown NJ until 7 pm.
