Born and raised in Newark he had lived at the Daughters of Miriam Apartments in Clifton for the past 8 years. Milton was a clothes salesman for his entire career working with a number of retailers. A long-time member, board member and past president of Congregation AABC in Irvington, he was devoted to his family and Synagogue.
Milton was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn and is survived by son, Steven Weisholtz and his wife Anne; daughter, Judy and her husband Paul Playe; grandchildren: Daniel and his wife Yun Weisholtz; Elizabeth Weisholtz and her husband Jeff Tabachnick; Rachel Playe and great-grandchildren: Isaac and Noah Tabachnick. Also surviving is Milton’s sister, Shirley Kaplan along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, Tuesday, at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston. Burial will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
