I'm so sorry to hear of Muriel's passing, unfortunately I was too far away to say goodbye.  She will be greatly missed and I will never forget everything she has done for me. Thank you for everything, Muriel!

I met Muriel on the train from Maplewood to NYC in the 80"s(?) . She was always FIRST on our party list. Muriel always made everyone smile and have a great time. Muriel was the high point at any party always turned out in a smart black dress. You could always hear here distinctive laugh. I recall the conductor one morning  saying , "I can't see her but I hear her." I will always have my memories of this charming lady.

I have known Muriel for over a decade, and she was always a bright spot in my, and my receptionist's day. What a lovely spirit she was!

Many moons ago you were my ‘second mother’, & for 4 years gave me sound & honest advice which I couldn’t get anywhere else.  You were an open book, & no question or subject  was unapproachable.  I remember the parties you & Phil threw; the house pulsating to the DJ’s music. I remember you coming down the stairs, commencing the parties with “Let’s Boogie!!” (This was the ‘70’s after all!) You were a real firecracker Muriel!  Above all, you had great capacity to LOVE, which you gave to everyone so freely.  I hope you feel the outpouring of love equal to that which you gave.  You will be greatly missed, but I know you are reunited with all who you’ve missed. xxx
