I went to High School with Myrna and she always had a certain sense of warmth and a constant smile.  She accomplished so much and it was not a surprise. Her legacy is one that will not be forgotten.  She was a beautiful person. My condolences to all of you.

I was saddened to read of Myrna's passing in the WHS Blog.  I remember both Myrna's smiling face and Larry's sparkling personality.  Carole SANDLER Kahn (January '58).

Myrna made a difference in this world and I am certain she will be missed by many. We went to grammar school and high school together. I am very proud of her accomplishments.
My heart felt sympathy goes to Larry and her entire family. May happy memories sustain you at this difficult time.

A warm smile and a tender hello is how I remember Myrna from when I lived in Springfield. She will be missed.

Myrna was my friend Iris' big sister--they were both born on March 17.  I remember happy days with the Gillule family on Bayview Terrace.  My sincerest condolences to the family.

My condolences go out to the family- My mother used to drive me from Maplewood to Springfield to be tutored by Mrs. Wasserman- She was very smart, caring, and especially very patient- I believe we are all here, here on earth for a reason and that reason is to help one another- That's exactly what Mrs. Wasserman did.

God Bless Mrs. Wasserman.  She tutored and advocated for my son back in 1990.  He is now an economist working in Washington D.C..  I credit her for giving him what he needed to succeed.  She was such a loving and amazing woman.  My condolences to Mr. Wasserman, her son and grandchildren.  I wanted you to know how much she was loved.

I am one of those parents who will forever be grateful to Myrna for her advice, compassion and support. She  gave me hope to keep fighting for my son's future when I had none.  He went from isolation and self destruction to thriving. I will forever be grateful for her partnering with me when I had no partner in fighting for an appropriate education for my son living with Asperger's syndrome.  I am hopeful for his independent future as a result of Myrna's advice. May the family find comfort in the knowledge that my child and many children like him are thriving because of Myrna's brilliance and compassion. May her memory be for a blessing.
