Norman Beim, age 97, of Monmouth Beach died Tuesday June 30 at Monmouth Medical Center, NJ.
Funeral services will be Thursday July 2, 11AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Funeral Home, Livingston, NJ.
Mr. Beim attended Lafayette College Class of 1940 where he earned his BA in Business Administration and English.
He served three years in the US Army Air Corps developing new air bases and weather stations. As well as serving as an instructor there.
He spent his 75 year business career in Beer Distribution. He was a senior partner in Schwartz Crescent Distributors in Newark NJ and its successor company Peerless Beverage Company. During that time he served on the Board of Directors of the Sales Executive Club, the Administration Board of the Watchung Power Squadron and as President of the New Jersey Beer Wholesalers Association.
He is predeceased by his Granddaughter, Cara Marie and is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Shirley, his son Scott and his wife Michele and grandchildren Jake, Jesse and Carina.
He will be greatly missed.
