I am sending my sincerest condolences on the passing of Phyllis. May her memory be a source of comfort to you all at this difficult time. May she Rest In Peace.

We are so sorry for the passing of Phyllis.  She was a kind, wonderful and amazing person who lived a remarkable life.   Phyllis was such a loving person and inspiration not only to her husband Stan, and sons Brian and Jason, but to all her grandchildren, family and friends as well. We are so lucky that we got to know her, and to share in her many joyous occasions.  Our heart and prayers go out to Phyllis’s entire family at this most difficult time.  May God’s love and grace always be with her. Phyllis will definitely be missed.

In Memory of Phyllis Perla

“Special” is a perfect word to describe Phyllis.  She had qualities that made you want to spend as much time as possible with her.  For twenty years we shared dinners and theater in NYC  with her and Stan.  He was always at her side and took great care to see that she was  comfortable and safe.

She loved the game of Canasta and always wanted to play.  We enjoyed the many games we played with her and Stan.  But she was always interested in improving and was not only attentive to learning but she put it all into practice.  While she could be serious about the game, the hands we played were full of laughs, win or lose.  

I feel that I know all of her friends and family about whom she spoke constantly.  Clearly they were all equally important to her.  She shared the joy of her sons, Brian & Jason and Daughters-in-Law Jenny & Lori, and her grandchildren.  They meant the world to her and it showed.  They will all have even more memories of her and the lasting imprint of her caring and love.

I feel that the world was a better place because of her and will miss her.  I still have the memories of the time we knew her and that will always be cherished.
