December 29, 1954August 16, 2018

Regina “Gina” Romagnoli (nee Clark) of Livingston passed away at the age of 63 on Thursday, August 16, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, August 19, from 3-7 pm at the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. in Livingston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 10 am in St. Philomena’s Church in Livingston followed by the interment in Gate of Heaven, East Hanover.

Born in Orange, Regina grew up in Maplewood and moved to Livingston more than 30 years ago where she and her husband, Carl, raised two sons and lived a rich life full of friendship and love.

Through the years, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, and tending to her bird houses. She was a talented cook who hosted countless celebrations for her family and friends at her home. She also spent many hours on the sidelines of sports fields around NJ supporting her sons.

Gina loved spending time with her family in Charleston, SC and attending football games in Clemson, SC, but she especially loved time spent with her granddaughter, Emerson.

She was predeceased by her father P. Joseph Clark and father-in-law Frederick Romagnoli.

Gina will be sadly missed by her husband of 41 years, Carl; son Matthew and his wife Amanda; granddaughter Emerson; son Gregory and his girlfriend Taylor Zuppa; her mother Adele Clark; and sisters Linda Westman and Mary Hickey and her husband David.

She will also be missed by her mother in law Helen Romagnoli, sister-in-law Donna Buro and her husband Rick, 6 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and dear friends too numerous to count.

She was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or RWJ Barnabas Health Cancer Center.

I will always remember Gina's warm smile and how friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful she was. Although I did not get to spend as much time with Gina, Carl, and family as I wished, I will miss Gina and cherish the times we did spend at family gatherings. My deepest sympathy to the Clark & Romagnoli families. Rest in peace, Gina! Love cousin Debbie.

I was not fortunate enough to have known Gina, but she was my predecessor, working as the legal assistant for my boss Paul Carvelli at our law firm in Florham Park. I have never seen an office so devastated by the loss of a former coworker as when the news was circulated yesterday of Gina's passing. I already knew she'd left big shoes to fill professionally; obviously she also left a big hole in people's hearts. My deepest sympathy to all her family and friends.
