Robert S. Fershing, 79, of Livingston died at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center on November 30th, 2021. Robert graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University and he worked for Phoenix Mutual Insurance Company for many years. He is survived by his wife Susan (nee Heilig) of 53 years and his brother Albert Fershing of Watchung, NJ and his 4 daughters and their families. Robert and Susan were active volunteers with AFS Intercultural Programs and hosted 5 exchange students over a 35 year period. Shiva will be held immediately following the service on Sunday untl 6 pm and again on Monday from 2-6 pm at the home of Julie and David Potischman @ 2 Wilshire Drive in Livingston. We respectfully ask that all guests wear masks and be vaccinated or have a negative Covid test within 24 hours of the event.
