

Robert “Bob” Alan Jones passed away at age 69, surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Mt. Vernon, NY and grew up in Livingston, NJ, where he spent most of his life and served as the municipal court judge for many years.
He was born on September 18th, 1956, to parents Marcia and David Jones. He graduated from Livingston High School and went on to receive his undergraduate degree from Rutgers, and Juris Doctor from Georgetown School of Law.
Bob dedicated himself to every community he was a part of by serving as a mentor, advisor, and guide to others, both personally and professionally.
Bob was an avid golfer, Mets, Giants, Rangers, and Knicks fan, and loved spending time with his family in Aruba and LBI.
He is survived by his three children, Andrew, Justin, and Dahlia, to whom he was the best father in the world. He was predeceased by his younger brother Michael Jones. He also leaves behind ex-wife Amanda Jones, sister-in-law Beth Jones, and nephew Matthew Jones.
He will be missed dearly by family, friends, clients and colleagues.
Shiva will be held at 15 Scarsdale Drive Livingston NJ 07039 on Friday October 17 from 6 pm to 8 pm, Saturday October 18 from 4 pm to 8 pm, and Sunday October 19 from 12 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm.
