A proud veteran of the Korean War, Bob dedicated his life to service, family, and the values of hard work and kindness that defined him.
Bob was the beloved husband of Jane, with whom he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to love, loyalty, and partnership, inspiring all who knew them. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on their greatest joy: their family.
Bob is survived by his four children, Steven, Mark, David, and Nancy, and his numerous grandchildren and great grand-children who carry forward his legacy of love, integrity and warmth. He was roundly cherished for his selection of “Grandpa Sweaters,” and was always quick to share stories, wisdom, and a smile.
Bob’s life was one of quiet heroism, marked by his bravery and service during the Korean War and his devotion to those he held dear. He was a man of steadfast faith, humility, and generosity. He leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A service will be held to honor Bob’s life and his contributions to his family and his community. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to organizations supporting The Valerie Fund.
