

Born in Newark, Bob lived in West Orange for 27 years before moving to Fairfield.
He owned Crestmont Agency in Maplewood, NJ for 40 years before retiring. After closing his insurance company, he loved driving and started his own driving service company.
An avid lover of crossword puzzles and a regular viewer of Jeopardy!, Bob often impressed family and friends with his quick wit and sharp memory. He also had a deep love for travel, relishing the opportunity to explore new places and create lasting memories with his family. Above all, he cherished his family and was always there for them, demonstrating a boundless love and devotion that defined his life.
Bob was the beloved husband of the late Susan Rudnick and the devoted son of the late Viola and Irving Rudnick. He is survived by his cherished children, Staci (Mark) Kessler, Lisa (Mitch) Weisenstein, and Jamie (Ashley) White. He was the loving brother of the late Gerald Rudnick and the adoring grandfather of Dylan Kessler, Hailee (Kessler) Goldstein, Amanda White, Madison White, Brayden White, and Cooper Weisenstein.
The family will be receiving guests for Robert on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey 07039, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Beth David Memorial Park, Kenilworth, New Jersey.
