Robert Michael Simon, 69, of Livingston, New Jersey, passed away on April 21, 2026. Born on November 19, 1956 to Gloria and Sidney Simon, Robert lived in Livingston for his entire life, rooted in the community.
Throughout his working life, Robert was known primarily as a home improvement contractor—someone who understood the dignity of honest work and the value of doing things well. Beyond his trade, he also spent time developing products and businesses, and he considered himself an entrepreneur, bringing initiative and practical vision to the ideas he pursued.
For the past 21 years, Robert was the husband and devoted partner of Mindy Lewis. He was also devoted to his stepson Jason Lewis, daughter-in-law Mandy, and granddaughter Blake.
Robert approached life with a genuine love for it, and he was widely remembered for his great sense of humor—an easy warmth that could lighten a moment and draw people together.
