She was born in Newtown, Connecticut on February 10, 1950 and died on December 3, 2013 at her home in Short Hills, New Jersey. Robin couragiously battled colon cancer for more than five years and helped raise awareness of the disease.
Robin earned her bachelor degree and her Masters in Education at the University of Connecticut and was an educator in writing, math and science throughout her career. She was the glue that held her family together during tough times with her compassion, encouragement and advice, and always swung the momentum towards celebration at exactly the right moment.
Robin is survived by her husband Charles Kligman, children Joshua and Brandi, daughter-in-law Libby Henninger and granddaughter Sadie Kligman.
The funeral will be at 11am on Wednesday, December 4th at the Bernhein Funeral Chapel at 68 Old Short Hills Road in Livingston, NJ 07039.
