Robyn Martha Gebroe, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children at St Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, on August 14, 2025. She was raised in Merrick, NY. She was the daughter of Donald and Ada Post.
She attended Rider University where she met Alan, her husband of 51 years. Robyn was a devoted sister, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her sisters, Donna Silverman and Lisa Newman; sister-in-law, Linda Gebroe; her children, Eric and his wife, Stacie Gebroe, Emily Gebroe; her grandchildren, Molly, Lyla, Olivia and Zeke.
Born on October 31, 1950, she was a tremendous Halloween enthusiast. She was endlessly generous with her family and the Jewish community and a lover of all animals. Robyn was congregant of Temple Beth Shalom and a longtime member of Crestmont Country Club.
The family will be receiving guests for Robyn on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey 07039, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at King Solomon Memorial Park, 550 Dwasline Road, Clifton, New Jersey 07012.
