She was offered a scholarship to Cornell University at age 15 but opted to work as an assistant to seven attorneys before working for Lee Eastman, a music publisher and eventual father-in-law of Paul McCartney. Her biggest career success was working with Theodore Cross, a publisher and entrepreneur, for 40 years.
Rochelle traveled the world with her beloved husband, Harry, who predeceased Rochelle. Her daughter Linda Lewis Rodman of Westfield, NJ was also the love of her life. She also greatly enjoyed her grandchildren, Alison Rodman of Warren, NJ, Danielle Aspromatis formerly of Scotch Plains, NJ and her great grandchild Everly.
She especially enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod, MA, Beach Haven, NJ and Sanibel Island, FL with Harry, Linda and her husband Richard and their Children Alison and Danielle.
Rochelle’s hobbies were singing, as she had perfect pitch her whole life and dancing as she and Harry were a tango team for decades. She taught us all to be generous and kind and treat everyone equally. She will be greatly missed.
