It was such a surprise and disheartening to lose a cool guy with a prominent smile way back our high school days.  I may not anymore had an encounter with Jun after high school unlike our other classmates, but we all know that it was during that stage where we had our best memories of education.

Farewell, friend. May God give you a warm welcome in heaven and may your family be consoled by the legacy that you left behind. You are now in a much better place with our creator, reporting for your accomplishments here on earth. Pray for us who still struggle with our journey in life.

My family and I are deeply saddened by Jun Mazo’s passing, and that we only learned about it recently through my high school classmate. 

I knew Jun since our UMYF days at St. John’s UMC in Quezon City. We were high school classmates, and we both went to the University of the Philippines. I remember him as always smiling, happy and caring. The last time we got together was during a mini-high school reunion many years ago here in NJ. 

With sadness that Jun has gone before us, I am also joyful that he is now in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ! 

My prayers and thoughts go out to the entire Mazo family, especially Mila and the kids.

We learned of his passing only recently from a batchmate Noel Mariano from LA. 

I knew Rudy from my elementary to high school. We spent a lot of good times and have forged a strong frienship even in the University of the Philippines. 

May God welcome you in heaven and your life be a blessing to others. Our prayers for you and your family.

I have known Jun since his younger years in the Philippines growing up in the same church community. He was such a jolly fellow who always found happiness in small, simple things. He was athletic, joining church sports activities.
