Joe and I send our deepest condolences to the entire family.
Rona and I met every Saturday morning in the beauty parlor and I remember once she was persuaded to try a different hairstyle. She took one look at the finished hairdo and promptly went back to get her hair washed again. In a few minutes she was back to her original look. That was the quintessential Rona. 
She was one not in a million but one in a billion.

There are no words to describe Rona. She was beautiful inside and out. Such a beautiful tribute my moms best friend like a sister. She is so special to our family always and forever .Such a struggling year with my son she was there for my mom  with everything wrong this and was such a positive light in our lives. She always remembers me as the wild child. She will never be forgotten as a I don’t have the words to describe how I am feeling right now.  I watched and the zoom and it  showed how special she was  to your family Thank g-d she didn’t suffer and left with dignity. Will never forget how AMAZING and beautiful she was. Our memories of Rona Lubetkin are that of a strong, beautiful, fiery, and passionate woman of presence and grace.  Her absence from her family's lives may be palpable but it will never be absolute.  Rona's soul and spirit will be with you all, with everyone, always.  That is who she was.  The Glanzman family mourns her loss and shares your profound sorrow.

Rona was a force to be reckoned with. She was always full of life & laughter. Her sense of style was on point! Rona once pointed out that I was wearing the wrong color nail polish for the season & she was right!  I fell in love with both she & Chuck the moment I met them. I feel blessed to have known her. She will be missed immensely.

Rona Lubetkin was an amazing woman on so many levels. 

I don’t say this because she was my aunt, and I love and adore her, and her entire family, but because it’s unequivocally true. 

In many ways Rona was like a diamond; multi-faceted, sparkling on the outside, lighting up every room she entered with a commanding, yet gentle presence, however her truly exquisite persona lay beneath the surface. 

Her radiant beauty, always coiffed to perfection, dressed impeccably, adorned with diamonds and Chanel suits, was only a small part of this brave, courageous and caring woman.

Least you be fooled by the beautiful packaging, this strong woman was a loving force of nature, a study in refinement and grace; funny, kind, generous and giving to others beyond words.

My memories are full, and abundant, as I morn this loss, along with her many friends and the rest of our family.  

I remember sharing many Thanksgiving dinners together as a child; family birthdays, parties, and even her grabbing me by the arm with that amazing smile and saying “I am so glad to see you, let’s sneak outside and have a cigarette and tell me everything”.  

She gave from the heart and was always there for others, and as we learned, positive in the face of adversity.  

Honest, heartfelt, and passionate in life, she loved fiercely and deeply; as I loved her.

Time to soar with the angels, and work your magic from heaven above.

I had known Rona since before I was born. 

Even now, and over 60 years, whenever I think of “Aunt” Rona, a warmth comes over me that is indescribable.  

As much unconditional love as I always felt from Rona, I know there are hundreds or thousands of other people who feel the same way.  

She lit up when I walked into a room and her smile and love was impossible to resist, even in my surly youth.

Everyone either knows (or has heard about) someone who is described something like this: 

“When you’re with them, even in a crowd, they make you feel like you’re the only person in the room.”   

What greater gift can one person give another?

While I might be speaking only for myself, when I was a kid, and saw an adult coming and knew that the "lipstick kiss on the cheek" was coming, I’ll be honest that I didn’t always greet those moments with eager anticipation. 

That admission conceded, when I knew I was walking into a room where Rona was going to be, her joy, infectious as her smile, was something I always looked forward to experiencing, again, regardless of the age or mood I might have been in.  

If there’s a heaven, I hope it feels like a hug and a kiss from Aunt Rona.
