A founder and Executive Board Member of the Millburn Retired Educators Association, Ruth Morvay, was a beloved 2nd grade teacher at South Mountain School in Millburn for over 25 years. She was also an active member of the Brandeis National Committee.
She received a Masters in Education from Newark State Teacher’s College (now Kean University).
Ruth Morvay was wife of the late Leonard Morvay; mother of Roslyn Morvay, Steven Morvay (Paula) and the late Judith Morvay-Bridges; grandmother of Emily Fahringer (Michael), Adam Bridges (Christie), Jacob Morvay (Jenna), Jonathan & Zoe Morvay; great-grandmother of Aidan, Colby, Andy, Erin and Adina.
Services will be held 10am October 9th at Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in Short Hills, New Jersey. Contributions in her memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
