Sadie was truly a wonderful lady she gave pure delight when conversing. Sadie will forever be MyLanternHill home girl from Westfield. I'm going to miss her much and cherish my memories of our talks. May she rest peacefully and your family continue on comfortably. My sincere and deepest condolences. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Dawn Carroll (Dining)

We lived a couple of blocks from each other in Westfield from 1968 until they moved to Basking Ridge.  We car pooled to drive the children places.  We spoke on the phone for hours.  Sadye came up with the idea to take the children to see the Barnum and Bailey  Circus in Madison Square Garden, maybe 48 years ago.  We most likely took the train, seven kids and us.  It was a day to remember forever.  
Sadye got me interested in joining National Council of Jewish Women.  We were members of then Temple Israel in Scotch Plains and later Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim in Cranford.  She told me about growing up in Asbury Park and we had a mutual friend in Asbury Park.
Our last intense bonding was when we were both in the same rehab facility in Berkeley Hieghts before she moved to New Providence.  We still spoke on the phone for hours,  we found so many things of mutual interest to discuss.  Sadye was well read on current events.

I'm so sorry to hear this news.  Sadie and I were in contact often because there were a few of us Newark Beth Israel School of Nursing graduates who always kept in touch.  We went on our affiliations together and spent many days off at my home in Dover, N. J. when we were affiliating at the Psychiatric Hospital in Morris Plains, N.J.   We were a close knit group and Sadie will be missed by those of us still fortunate enough to be here on earth.
