Sarah “Sonia” Symchowicz 89, of Livingston passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Samson Symchowicz in 2009. Surviving are her daughters Esther Schlesinger (Jay), Beatrice Symchowicz-Lipper (Jeffrey), and Caren Loren (Mitchell), 6 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held 1:30PM Monday at the Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery, Washinton Twp., NJ.
Donations may be made in her name to either Hadassah or the Holocaust Museum.
