Sheldon Victor DuBrow

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Sheldon Victor DuBrow, formerly of Livingston, NJ on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Paula Chapman DuBrow; children Abbe DuBrow Branch of Annandale, NJ, Beth and Jeffrey Berger of Basking Ridge, NJ, Carrie and Richard Solomon of Basking Ridge, NJ and Darin and Ellen DuBrow of Livingston, NJ; along with 12 grandchildren. His brother Martin DuBrow resides in Chesapeak Bay City, MD. He is predeceased by his parents, the late Marguerite and Samuel DuBrow.

A resident of Livingston for over 55 years, he was the founder and owner of DuBrow's Nurseries, Inc., which he established in1958. He was actively involved in the business until his retirement in 2013, when he and his wife relocated to Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Mr. DuBrow, following an honorable discharge from the US Army, attended S.U.N.Y Farmingdale. He was a well-respected Landscape Architect, and was credited with designing many award winning projects throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Mr. DuBrow was also honored to serve as a volunteer fireman with the Livingston Fire Department for 21 years, the last 6 of which he served as Deputy Chief.

Funeral services will be at the Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ at 1:15 PM on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
