If this is the Shirley Schwartz who used to live in White Meadow Lake, Rockaway, NJ, I knew her when I was a child growing up through high school.  Her son, Andy (Andrew) was a childhood friend for many early years.  Shirley's personality was grander than life and her sense of humor explosive at any given time.  She was  a good person and I am glad to have known her as briefly as I did growing up.  She passed away about the same time my mother Shirley Epstein passed away in Scottsdale, Arizona...they were friends for many years back in New Jersey.  They are missed.  Maybe they are upstairs looking down on their families and smiling some...
