Stanley graduated from Amherst College and attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He followed in his father’s footsteps as an accomplished urologist and surgeon. He served for many years as the Chief of Urology at Peninsula Hospital Center in New York. In addition to his love of medicine, Stanley was an accomplished musician. He was a proud member of the “Kids from Home”, a group of college students who entertained the troops overseas during the Korean War. He could often be heard playing the piano on St. Martin Drive, with a repertoire ranging from classical music to show tunes.
Most of all, Stanley was a warm, loving and gentle person who always put his family first. He is survived by Susan, his wonderful wife of 58 years, his daughters, Marnie (David) Grossman and Jodi (Robert) Zwiebach, and his four incredible grandchildren, Andy and Jonah Grossman, and Molly and Dani Zwiebach, who were the light of his life. He is predeceased by his brother, Theodore Ginsberg.
A private graveside service was held in Monday, November 3, 2025 in New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
