Stewart Manheim, age 90, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Stewart was born in The Bronx, New York, moved to Newark, NJ as a teenager and was a proud graduate of Weequahic High School and Rutgers University.
He is survived by his loving and beloved wife of 60 years, Rhoda, his sister Jane Jurick, his daughter Lori Munk, his son David and his wife Dara, and his grandchildren Samantha, Alexa, Ellie and Brody.
Stewart was the most wonderful, easy going, lovable husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He enjoyed the simple pleasure of being with his family. Stewart will be remembered by his many friends and family for his wonderful personality, infectious laugh and beautiful smile.
A funeral service for Stewart will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey 07039. Following the funeral service will be a burial at 12:30 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, Route 1 North, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095.
