Born in Glen Ridge, Sue spent most of her life in Bloomfield until 1992 when she married her husband of 17 years, Rob Lazarowitz. Together they lived in Wyckoff for 6 years before moving to Franklin Lakes in 1998.
Sue earned a BS degree in Communications from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University in 1984. She started her advertising career with Dancer Fitzgerald in New York, and later went to work for NJ Home & Garden Magazine and Gannett Company, Inc., both in New Jersey. In 2002, Sue, along with her husband, Rob, became a cofounder, co owner, and advertising director of “The Gym”, a fitness club with 2 locations in Bergen County and 1 in Westchester.
Sue’s greatest joy was being a loving mother to her son, Matthew Lazarowitz. Her devotion to him was seen through her never ending efforts in every aspect of his life, most notably her active participation in the Home & School Association of High Mountain Road School in Franklin Lakes. In addition to her son and husband, her life was about family, friends, and summers on Long Beach Island with her cousins.
Sue was also the cherished daughter of Dr. Thomas and Camille Fasulo, loving sister of Addie Fasulo and Thomas and Danielle Fasulo, proud aunt of Michael Persky , Olivia Fasulo, Danielle and David Lazarowitz, and Logan and Austin Gardner, sister in law of Edward and Marcie Lazarowitz and Carol and John Gardner, niece of Josephine LaMonica, Adeline Guerino, Robert Fasulo, Alfred Fasulo, and Jane Meston.
