Born in New York to Jerome and Mildred Honig, Susan pursued a life rich with purpose, passion, and dedication. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, and later received her Master’s in Education from the College of New Rochelle. Her professional life reflected her adventurous spirit and love of people, first as a stewardess and later as a travel agent, where she helped others explore the world she so loved.
Beyond her career, Susan was known for her warmth, gracious hospitality, and joy in entertaining friends and family. She resided in Clifton, NJ for the last 13 years.
Susan was the cherished mother of Heather Scott and Courtney Tomeo (Jamison), and the adoring grandmother of Alexa and Sydney Tomeo. Her family was the heart of her world, and she brought to them the same care, strength, and boundless love that she shared with all who knew her.
