Taddeo Bozzone

Visitation is on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ. The services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 21, at 8:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rose of Lima Church, East Hanover at 9:30 am. The interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Born in Italy, Taddeo came to Brooklyn and then New Jersey from South America in the early 1950’s. He lived in East Orange and Orange before moving to East Hanover 18 years ago.

An Army Veteran, he was a Master Cabinet Maker and owner of the Bozzone Custom Wood Shop, Inc., in Morristown and Lake Hiawatha from 1977 until his retirement in 1996.

Taddeo was a generous man who gave his all to his family and friends and the family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to those who gave back to him during his illness. Among them are Dr. Milton J. Mintz, the nurses and staff of the Hospice of the VNA of Northern New Jersey, and Bernadette Galli of the Veterans Administration.

Taddeo was predeceased by his parents Rosa (nee Bellini) and Luigi Bozzone and his daughter in law Christine Bozzone.

He is survived by his beloved wife Maria Ann (Nina) (nee Sementa), loving children Rose Marie Bozzone-Sommese and her husband Anthony, Louis Bozzone and his wife Lenore Chieffo, Joanna Powell and her husband John, and Teddy Bozzone and his wife Leona, dear brother Gerardo Bozzone, and cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Samantha, and Joseph Bozzone, Jennifer and Juliana Powell, and Thomas Belli.
