Alice May Little

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harvey as well as two of her children Donald and Patricia. She is survived by her son, James as well as her nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. She is the grandmother of Vicki, Donna, Don, Cindy, Nancy, Cathleen, Kimberly, Michael and Diane. She is the great grandmother of Roger, Melody, Cork, Jennifer, Melissa, Curt, Danielle, David, Lisa, Joshua, Jeremy, J.J., Anisah, Victoria, Brittany, Callum, Anna, Kaylyn, Maggie and Claire. She is the great great grandmother of Kiersten, Jacob, Shelby, Gracie, Eleana, Calvin, Isabella and Diesel.

During WWII, she served her country as a "Rosie the Riveter", but held many other jobs as a bookkeeper for A&P, a waitress and serving 25 years on the board of her retirement club.

Alice will be remembered for her pride in her Irish heritage and being from Iowa.

Visitation for Alice will be Wednesday May 18, 2011 from 4 pm until 8 pm and Thursday May 19, 2011 from 12 noon until 8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile, Livonia, Michigan 48152. The funeral home is located on the north side of W. Six Mile, east of I-275 and Newburgh roads. Her funeral service will be Friday May 20, 2011 at 1 pm at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia, Michigan with Harvey.
