Anita C. Johnson, age 79, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. She is survived by loving husband of 56 years, Kenneth L. Johnson. Beloved mother of Eric (Molly), Christopher (Christine), and Anne. Dear grandmother of Emily, Ethan, and Alise. Sister to Miriam Ross. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary.
Anita was born in Detroit, MI where she proudly attended Cooley High School before earning her Bachelors of Elementary Education at Eastern Michigan University. She was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority. She was passionate about singing and was part of the Schoolcraft College Community Choir as well as Plymouth Oratorio Society Choir. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
A private funeral for family for Anita will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth, 701 Church St., Plymouth, MI 48170. A livestream will be available to the public.
