Anthony "Tony" Soroka

Anthony (Tony) C. Soroka passed away suddenly on December 21, 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. He is survived by his mother, Judith Soroka Devine and stepfather Nicholas Devine. Sister Kim Schachinger (Mary Jane Nowak), Brother Ken Soroka (Jamie Radick), nephews and nieces - Austin, Lindsay and Andrew Schachinger and Devin and Avery Soroka along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Anthony loved sunny California and spent the last 15 years working in the Los Angeles area as an IT Manager at agencies including DDB Advertising, Rhino Records and most recently at RPA. He looked forward to his visits to Detroit to spend time with his family, and always found time to revisit favorite areas like Lafayette Coney in downtown Detroit.

Anthony's genuine love for family, friends, music and over-all life was valued beyond compare and will remain with us forever. He had a profound love for all animals – especially his dogs Bodhi & Bugsy.

The family will receive guest on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 1-8pm with a 7pm vigil service at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road (east of I-275 and Newburgh road) in Livonia.

The Funeral service will be at 11:30am on Saturday, January 3, 2015 (In-State 11:00am) at St. Colette Church on Newburgh Road (just north of Six Mile) in Livonia.
