Barbara was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on November 9, 1931 and came to Detroit in 1935. She found NorthRidge Church in 1957 and was active in the church choir, teaching God’s word and Prison Ministry.
She leaves behind niece Debra and great niece Rachel, dear friends Nancy, Millie, Blair, Roger, Delphine and Zelma. Barbara was preceded in death by her dear friends Marilyn, Beverly and Jody.
A visitation will be held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home – Livonia, located at 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan on Monday June 22, 2026 from 3-8pm with a funeral service Tuesday June 23, 2026 at 11am (in state 10am) also at the funeral home. Barbara will be laid to rest at Grand Lawn Cemetery.
