Linda, Nancy, Carol, Karen, Chrissy, and families: Our deepest condolences for your loss. I hope you know how much we love and miss all of you. Although we have so many wonderful memories of Betty, her warm hugs, beautiful smile, and exceptional sense of humour stand out most. We will miss her. First of all, my most sincere condolences to the Pace Family. Though I feel Mum Pace’s loss, I know it can’t compare to that of my sister-in-law Carol, her sisters, their spouses and that of the grandchildren.
I wanted to write something sooner, but when I heard of her passing it’s as if she left…and left me without words. I work with words; I am supposed to be good with words, but not that day.
The words other people who knew Betty wrote all ring true… a wonderful lady, loving, happy, fun and spunky.
Yes, all those things and more.
I believe after our loved ones leave us, there is a message if we listen closely – in a song, a line in a book, something on TV. It happened to me with my Mom and again with my Dad. I got my message from Mum Pace last night. The movie Alice in Wonderland was on and I decided to watch it, the version with Johnny Depp. At one point Alice comes across the caterpillar, “Absolem, ” who is wrapping himself up in his cocoon.
Alice believes he is dying, but he makes it clear that he is "transforming."
At the end of the movie a beautiful butterfly alights on her shoulder and Alice says “Hello Absolem.” It then flies away … a symbol of transformation.
Next time I see a butterfly, I will think of Mum Pace. Though always with us in our hearts, may her lovely spirit continue to fly.

The Pace and Snyder family have been friends long before us "kids" were born. Linda, Nancy, Carol, Karen and Chris, words cannot express my heartfelt sorrow for all of you at this time. Heaven gained another angel and once again your mom and dad are together forever. May you find comfort and peace in this thought. Love to all, Diane Snyder Winkles.

To my wonderful cousins,
We have been so blessed to be part of the extended Paciocco family for all these years. There are just so many memories we share from growing up so close to your family. Christmas night and your silver tree!
Here’s a picture of our “Aunty” with her nieces on vacation at Chrissy & Brian’s.
Fast forward from Christmas nights, St. Hilary, Mr. Ed’s & Grandma Francis’ cottage to making adulthood memories at the lake. She shared her love, wit, compassion and Scrabble talents with all.
Love to all,
Dee

Prayers and love to your whole family during this time of loss. Aunt Betty was the light glowing in any room she entered. Her smile was priceless. And she loved her family and was so proud of each family member. May you find some comfort from family and friends that surround you today and always. And treasure all your cherished memories of times spent together.

Our deepest sympathy,

Dear Pace family,
Words are so inadequate at times like this. I have known Betty through my friendship with Beverly Bachman. We shared many good times together over the decades. She was such a beautiful person with a wit that always raised one's spirits. She will be greatly missed. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately I am recovering from surgery and am unable to make the funeral service but I am with you in spirit.

Dear Linda, Nancy, Carol, Karen and Chrissy and families: My sincere sympathy to you on the passing of your beautiful mother. She was an awesome person. I will always remember our summertime visits to Detroit and staying at your house when we were kids. I will remember Betty as she was the last time you were all here in the Soo for a visit. I hope you all find comfort in knowing that she did not suffer for long and she is now reunited with your dad who is welcoming "Blue" with open arms! I truly believe they are dancing up a storm! Take care as you journey through this time of sorrow. Thinking of you all with love. Cheryl xoxoxoxo

Dear Pace Family, It is with sadness that I learn of the passing of Betty.. She certainly was the "energizer bunny", and I was very happy to be in her company on those rare occasions.. The best memory I have of her is dancing up a storm at Meg and Andrew's wedding.. especially that Friday night dancing her way into the reception area! She was so fun and spunky. I know she will be sorely missed by all. Thinking of you.. much love, Vicki

I feel so badly for you all, I only knew betty for a few years, but I cared for her. She always had a smile for you. I know she is in Heaven with Rudy and of course she will be wearing one of her special " head pieces" and it will be an " angel" hugs, loretta la berge
