Your mother was such a delightful person and such a lady in the true sense of the word!  Betty arranged lovely tables for AAUW events and once told me that using olive green table cloths cover every holiday except the 4th of July and I still do that today.  AAUW  certainly benefited from her membership; you should be proud.

Dear John, Elizabeth, Mark,and families,
You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers as you begin your first year without your mother/mother-in-law/grandmother's physical presence. The date of your mother's memorial service was the birthday of my Uncle and your Great-Uncle Jack Reiche, who I know was always particularly close to your father Frank. I too appreciate that your parents, despite the geographical distance, made sure that your family was part of our extended family. Those summer potlucks at the homestead during your visits were the best! Ben and I also treasure memories of visiting your parents several times and enjoying their gracious and generous hospitality. They took great pride in their beautiful home and family, and great interest in ours and our children's lives.

Dear John, Elizabeth, Mark and families - We are thinking of you today as you clebrate your mother's life. She was a good friend to all of us LWML'ers at Peace Lutheran in Windsor and I enjoyed travelling with her to our spring & fall rallies. We shared stories about her family home in Covington, KY and my family home in Athens, OH. Our children were so pleased when Frank and Betty sold us their sail/boats that their children had so enjoyed before that.
