Dr. Miller had been my chiropractor for many years.  He was kind and caring and was always willing to answer my questions no matter what the topic …. Health,  Chiropractic Care, Automobiles, Local Restaurants, and “why doesn’t your dog like me?”  
I trusted him and always felt his patients came first.  I will truly miss his humble spirit and smile.   Rest in Peace Dr. Dana!

I am very saddened to hear this news.  I was very fortunate to work for him for 15 years.  I saw first hand how kind and compassionate he was with his patients.  My deepest sympathy to Susan and Amanda and the rest of the family.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My husband Tom and I have been patients of Dr Miller’s for over thirty years.  Such an outstanding Dr and person.
Fifteen years ago I was in horrible pain on a Sunday evening, Dana came in (me in my pajamas) from home, to help me.  This was the kind of person he was.  So caring.
We will miss him so much.  Wonderful Dr and wonderful man.

I first went to Dr. Miller in 1988 and was a patient many times over the years. He was an excellent doctor and a very nice person, He was very kind and caring. He often went above and beyond to help me and give me advice for myself and my husband.
I will always be greatful to Him.

Hello, My name is Mark D. Henderson (DHS class of '73).  I knew Carl "Dana" Miller from school, (a little bit, another kid in school-Car guy and such) but ran into him after HS when I needed another employee to work my fathers' Service Station. It was "Competition Limited Standard Service" @ 5745 S. Telegraph Rd. (@ Van Born Rd. NE corner.)  (From '74-'76 -he was there for about 6-8 months I think.  No longer there but exact location where the Walgreens Pharmacy is today on that corner.  We had a very large station there.  My dad needed it for his Pro Car Road Rallye Team associated with American Motors (Jeep Rally Team).  Dana mostly worked weekends for me and did Mech. Work as well as gas attendant.  I remember his delight of his life being his '71 Lt. Green  10 coats of lacquer Ford 2 dr. LTD convertible.  Went to 1 party with him as an invite.  Great Employee.   He occasionally worked on my dads race vehicles as well.    Great guy and personality!!!

Dr. Miller was a great man and a genuine friend. Brilliant at his craft,  he had impeccable bedside manner and was a terrific diagnostician. But, he was an even better person. Very generous with his time. Dana was a man of great wisdom backed by a solid spiritual foundation. His selfless service to mankind professionally and personally, will resonate forever. I am proud to have been his close friend since 1996. 

There's an old saying, "The smallest deed will always outweigh the greatest intention."  Dr. Miller was a man of action and his acts of friendship are appreciated in ways that words cannot express.

I am one of Dr. Miller's patients. I'm sorry to hear that Dr. Miller has passed. He was always kind and interested in what I was doing. He was a top-notch chiropractor. Years of chiropractic helped him to understand that sometimes less is more.
I will miss him. He made every treatment so pleasant.

I met Dana at Chiropractic college in 1977 but he transferred to another college so we did not get a chance to know each other well. I met Dana again in 1980 and we got to know each other.

We went to seminars together, we talked chiropractic, cars, music, and family....we got to know each other!

He was a great chiropractor and a good friend. I am saddened by his passing and I wish we would have spent more time together but am thankful for the time that we did have together.

A thousand books and a million words could not portrait the relationship I had with Dana.  God brought us together as patient – doctor, and our relationship grew well beyond that.  Dana became my mentor, my brother.  As some may know, or may not, I had the privilege of donating a kidney to Dana some 20+ years ago.  The storyline here is, we were such a close match my doctor asked me if we were related!  Needless to say, we proceeded with the donation and the rest is history.  Our story goes back to when we first met, with an act of kindness on Dana’s part (no surprise), but to tell the story is more than I can write here. I have so many fond memories sharing our deep conversations on faith, politics, and lots of car stories (IYKYK).  And we can’t overlook his wonderful sense of humor…I can still hear his booming laugh!  Dana, as a mentor, helped to mold me for my life’s journey, and as a brother was always there for me.  He was a caring person who made an impact on other people’s lives.  He may be gone, but certainly not forgotten.  May God bless Susan and Amanda and the rest of his family.

To Susan and Amanda my deepest sympathy to you. But Dana will always be in our hearts. He left a large following in his fun side it was broken car parts and like minded gear heads. On his professional side was a trail of broken people that were dependent on his professional training for pain and mobility help i would never have been able to get thru my last 15 years of work before I retired. He was my Uncle Dana.  My most recent memory of him is one I will cherish forever. See I was estranged from my family for a lot of my son's childhood( due to a drug addiction Jesus set me free from) Zachary my son didn't get to know a lot of his family like I wish he would have. (He would have loved uncle Dana) we all did.... Zachary graduated from high school this year and we had a grad party for him. Uncle Dana couldn't make it because he had continuing education. But Uncle Dana didn't want Zach to wait for his card (cash) so he made a trip over to my moms just so he could give her the card, and show off his new ride 😉
This was my uncle Dana- thoughtful, kind and generous with his time, money, and talents. ( I can't tell you how many times he went out of his way to squeeze me in when my back was acting up) he took care of his family. I'm so grateful I have this memory of him. Thank you Uncle Dana.  A great man who will be greatly missed by so many! Rest easy uncle Dana in the arms of Jesus... We love you.

Dana and I are first cousins and grew up together.  Dana was a stellar musician and inspired  me in so many ways.Deepest condolences  to the entire family.  Love to all!

Shortly after acquiring my Chevrolet Impala, I was introduced to Dana Miller.  For years he was my mentor, my client and in many ways, my partner.  In every way, he was an honorable and distinguished friend to many of us.  His advice was sound and his demeanor gentle.   
Fairwell, my friend.  You will long be remembered.

I met Dana in1997 and joined in the band of like minded MISSL'ers Led by Dana. I recall an Adventure with Dana And several others, where Led by the intrepid Dana we screamed across central Indiana with speedometer needles hovering north of the 3 digit range. That is a memory that I will forever Cherish, as well as my Friendship with Dana. Such a Beautiful Human Being ! Gods Speed Dana. My Condolences to Susan and Family

Fond memories of my fellow board member and one time president of the Michigan Impala SS Lovers (MISSL) club.  I'll never forget swapping cars for the drive home from a car show in St. Louis.  That was my first and only time driving a Corvette.  My condolences to Dana's family.

Great Shock in the passing of long time friend Dana! So sad. Prayers for Susan and Amanda and the rest of the family. He will be greatly missed.
