Charles “Charlie” Scarlett passed away August 18, 2017 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Pat for over 68 years. Loving father of Judy (Earl) Dineen, Jim (Jane) Scarlett, Mary Ann (Carl) Morgan, Jerry (Pam) Scarlett, and Patty (Mike) Scarlett. Dear grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 7. Cherished brother of Robert Scarlett, Neil Scarlett, and the late Tom Scarlett.
Early in his life, Charlie played minor league baseball. He loved the Detroit Tigers, playing golf with his friends, and spending time with his family.
Funeral Mass Monday, September 11 at 10am (gathering beginning 9am) at St. Colette Catholic Church 17600 Newburgh Road in Livonia. Committal Service Tuesday, September 12 at 10:30am at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Road in Holly. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
