

Darrell Cline, age 84, of Northville, MI passed away on Tuesday January 30th, 2018. He was born on May 19th, 1933 to Clarence and Irma Cline. Darrell was the devoted and loving husband of 52 years to the late Erna (Koch) Cline. Loving father of Brian (Sheri) Cline and Susan (Allen) Kneale. Cherished grandfather to Stephen, Amy, Sam, and Morgan. In the past 4 ½ years, he also had a special lady friend named Millie Battaglia.
Darrell grew up in Port Austin, MI and served his country in the United States Air Force as a B-36 bomber mechanic. Darrell’s career was at Ford Motor Company, where he worked as a die maker for 46 years at the Rouge Assembly Plant in Dearborn.
Darrell’s legacy is his strong sense of taking care of his family and treating people with grace and gentleness. He was the primary caretaker of his wife during many significant illnesses and made her feel loved and cherished through it all. He defines the word “gentleman” and always strived to treat people with kindness.
A visitation will occur Sunday, February 4th, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan. Afterwards, a dinner will be held in the lower floor of the facility. Darrell will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park, 35667 W. Eight Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan.
