Dave was born in Massillon, Ohio on November 19, 1949. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary (Barthelemy) and Raymond C. King. David is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diane, and their two children and their spouses, Cheryl and Michael Hamilton and Julie and Brian Kingsmith, along with five grandchildren, Joshua, Anne and Lucy Hamilton and Noah and Lowen Kingsmith. He is also survived by his two sisters, Joan Krantz and Fran “Ruby” DeRee, along with many loving family and friends.
Dave spent many years of his life working at Ford Motor Company as a computer graphics engineer, until he retired over twenty years ago. He went on to spend the next two decades seeing the world with the love of his life, Diane. He was a lifelong lover of music, and passed on his talent to several grandchildren. He is known for his wit, his love for ping pong, shuffleboard, and finances, and his generosity.
