I know some time has passed but I just read in the IBEW electrical worker of Dave's passing. One of the nicest guys I ever had the pleasure to work with. Always had a smile on his face and greeted you with his special hand shake. So sorry for your loss.

i dont know if you will recieve this but i need to leave it any how 
i worked with dave at the airport and i have been off for many months on a medical leave. i just returned and heard the sad news dave was a great guy and a great friend  will miss his "let it go" ideal and of course his love for family,outdoors and his passion for both

We have a hunting camp next to Dave & Skip's in Germfask.  Oct. 1st through the end of December, you could always count on those two being around camp.  It was like a big family reunion every time we pulled into camp, it's sad to think one of our family has passed away....  We'll miss you Dave!

Janice and Melissa, we are so sorry to hear of David's passing. "Long Hair"  will be remembered always for kindness, his love of life and fellow man. All of the children have memories that can never be taken away. The hill as we call it in Blaney Park will miss his laugh... but thanks for sharing him with us for so many week a year..as I have lost  a true friend and in life they don't get much better than Long Hair...

    shocked to hear of dave's passing as he was a couple of years younger than I.Have very fond memories of our trips together..mostly to Garden Island. A mass will be offered for Dave at St. Hubert's in Higgins Lake, MI....the very best to you in a hard time.

As the ambulances drove away with Dave, McGuiness howled a mournful howl. He spent the day staring over at your house, wining. I think Dave will not only be missed by Buddy but by all  the neighbors dogs.
